Palin Not Ready for Prime Time

More GOP dirty tricks. Palin is ducking interviews. The McCain campaign said they won't let her be interviewed until she is shown the proper "deference and respect."

Excuse me, why on earth should I show her deference? As E.J. Dionne writes in the Washington Post, deference is for monarchs, kings, not elected officials.

Should we approach her on bended knee as well?

From E.J. Dionne's Washington Post op-ed:

John McCain's campaign acknowledged this weekend that Sarah Palin is unprepared to be vice president or president of the United States.

Of course, McCain's people said no such thing. But their actions told you all you needed to know.

McCain, Barack Obama and Joe Biden all subjected themselves to tough questioning on the regular Sunday news programs. Palin was the only no-show. And it's not just the Sunday interviews. She has not opened herself to any serious questioning since McCain picked her to be next in line for the presidency.

McCain's advisers clearly don't trust Palin to answer questions about policy and don't want her to answer many of the questions that have been raised about her tenure as governor of Alaska.

Gotta say, Oblogger, it seems like you have an O-hardon for Sarah Palin. Considering how your candidate doesn't yet know how to deal with her, you may want to change the O-subject.

The problem is that the male half of the republicant party has a hard on for McCain's "soul mate."

Let's imagine Sarah going head to head with PM Putin or even Ahmadinejad. Let the negotiations begin. Oh they are over?

Let's face it, no one can deal with her; she's a joke.

The "joke" is about to steal the election for McCain because Obama's team can't get an angle on her. It shoulda been Hillary.
