My mother-in-law, who is the sweetest, kindest person in the world is a lifelong Republican. I tend to not talk politics with her out of respect for her beliefs. (She's the good kind of Republican, the kind that doesn't like to waste money and isn't interested in legislating people's personal lives.)

The other day she told my children that she was voting for Obama.

Change happens.
