Liberal Shmiberal

I really chuckle when folks label me a "liberal blogger."

These labels are so outdated... so 1990s.

As a matter of fact, I don't consider myself liberal at all. I am very much of a pragmatist and am willing to support a good idea if I think it will work.

But what else can I expect from McCain supporters, who are very much living in the past and not in the present time?

Who does the Republican Party benefit anyway but rich white men?

We've had shadow oil interests running our country for the past eight years, and John McCain is just offering more of the same.

That's why he chose "Drill Now" Palin to be his running mate, because she would support the interests of the oil companies, and it's also a craven attempt to steal away some women voters.

But I don't think it's going to work. She's too much of a lightweight to fool the American public.
