Civil rights icon Andrew Young says Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is too young and lacks the support network to ascend to the White House.
In an interview posted online, Young also quipped that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton has her husband behind her, and that "Bill is every bit as black as Barack."
..."I want Barack Obama to be president," Young said, pausing for effect, "in 2016."
"It's not a matter of being inexperienced. It's a matter of being young," Young said. "There's a certain level of maturity ... you've got to learn to take a certain amount of (expletive)."
Young went on to say that Obama needs a protective network that he currently lacks _ a quality that could hurt him if he were to be elected. He said Hillary Clinton already has that kind of network, including her husband to back her up.
Folks, don't be fooled. Let me explain this to you...the only reason the mainstream black political establishment is supporting Hillary Clinton boils down to one word and one word only -- JOBS (for them).
A lot of career Democrats, black, white, brown, and otherwise are really furious at Barack because they made the choice to hitch their career wagons to the "sure bet" of Hillary Clinton early in the game. But then comes Barack who stands the best chance of upsetting their career goals.
They'd much rather have Barack agree to wait for "his turn," so that they can have their 8 years of steady employment under Hillary, with Barack running after that.
Barack is not playing politics and favoritism as usual, and this is pissing a lot of people off.

andrew young needs to go suck an egg.
I'm disappointed in Andy Young's stand. Bill Clinton is not running for office, Hillary is. His statement about Bill Clinton being as black as Barak is reallying saying that Barak is not Black. Race does not come into the picture as much as we are tired of all the political rehetoric that is just as much a part of Hillary's campaign as all her predecessprss. Andrew Young is far off base on this one I'm afraid.
Thank goodness the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. didn't listen to that advice. King hit the national scene at 26 years, made a dramatic moral change in America and was assassinated at 39 years.
And who appointed Andy Young the presidential gate keeper, and what experience does Hilary have? Why not release her WH and Arkansas records?
